At Oak Hill Construction, we pride ourselves on being detail-oriented, quality builders with efficiency and high standards as our main goals. What’s important to us is exceptional craftsmanship, precise attention to detail, and customer satisfaction. We form relationships with the homeowners that evoke trust. We aim to provide exceptional quality in all of our projects ranging from small renovations and home additions, to new home builds from the ground up.
Burlington Remodel
At our Burlington remodel, we worked with Brad Rabinowitz to redesign the house to the new homeowners liking. We completely removed all of the interior walls and finishes, moved the front door to a new location, and constructed the new floor plan per the design with finishes. We also added a 28’x14′ den addition off of the backside of the house. On the exterior, we added all new finishes complete with a deck off the back.
Charlotte Cottage Addition & Remodel
At our Charlotte cottage remodel & addition, we added a large addition which includes an attached garage, master bedroom and en suite, as well as a new, large entry way and a den. We continued the existing floors and other finishes into the new addition to allow consistency. We completely remodeled the exterior of the home, complete with wrap around back deck, to make both old and new feel uniform. This home went from a small, older cottage, to a large, updated home with modern touches.
Charlotte – Phase One – Kitchen Remodel
During Phase One of our Charlotte Home Remodel, we completely gutted the outdated kitchen and redesigned the cabinet layout. We installed new Cabico cabinets, complete with Quartz countertops. We added all new appliances, light fixtures and plumbing finishes. We then added a fresh coat of paint and refinished the existing floors. We continued our upgrades by moving outside and renovating the back deck by installing new mahogany decking and cable railing. Stay tuned for Phase Two!
Addison Lake House Remodel
At our Addison Lake House Remodel, we completed renovated both the inside and outside of the existing home to give it a light, airy feel. We completely demoed and revamped the kitchen, which included redesigning the layout to make it flow better. The fireplace in the Livingroom received a beautiful face lift. All bathrooms were updated and the exterior received new stone patios throughout the back yard. Almost all areas of the home were updated to give it a fresh, modern feel.
Charlotte Barn-to-Cottage Renovation
At our Charlotte Barn-to-Cottage Conversion, we converted a small garage into a 980 sq foot, 1 bedroom/1 bathroom cottage. Oak Hill Construction created the layout design of the finished cottage. We completely renovated the exterior, and finished the interior to the homeowners liking.
Shelburne Interior Remodel
At our Shelburne Interior Remodel, we completely renovated the kitchen and installed custom built cabinets topped with quartz countertops and backsplash complete with a quartz shelf. We reorganized the flow and layout of the first floor, refinished the hardwood flooring, and completed the first floor with a fresh coat of paint. On the second floor, we remodeled the master bathroom in its entirety.
Charlotte Remodel & Studio New Build
During the interior and exterior renovation of the Charlotte remodel project, we completely renovated the kitchen and installed custom made cherry cabinets topped with granite countertops and a beautiful stone backsplash. We added a new walk-in pantry with custom organizational shelving. We reorganized the flow and layout of the first floor, installed new hardwood flooring, as well as a custom fir front door, and renovated several bathrooms. During the outside phase of the project, we renovated the wrap around deck, and oversaw the extensive stonework that was completed, which included a stone retaining wall and several new patios. In the backyard, we built a brand new art studio for the homeowner, complete with vaulted ceilings, hardwood and tile throughout, a full bathroom, office, and basement storage area, all details to match the existing main home.
Vergennes Interior Remodel
At our Vergennes interior remodel, we renovated the homeowner’s great room to include all new birch hardwood flooring, a brand new fireplace insert, wet bar install, and all new lighting fixtures. We continued the hardwood into the entry hall and mudroom where we installed a custom built-in bench and shelving unit complete with lower wall treatments and new paint throughout.
Charlotte Kitchen Remodel
At our Charlotte Kitchen Remodel, we completely updated the kitchen from top to bottom – incorporating some existing cabinets & antique family heirlooms, as well as installing new cabinets, appliances, countertops, flooring, & a backsplash!
Panton Interior Remodel
At our Panton interior remodel job, we renovated the kitchen and master bathroom, we also added custom barn doors, refinished floors, stairs and railings giving this home a new, modern touch.
Essex Junction Renovation
At our Essex Junction Renovation project, we stripped the interior down to the framing, and relocated interior walls to suit the new design, and added quality finishes throughout.
Charlotte Remodel & Addition
At the Charlotte remodel & addition project, we renovated the interior and exterior of the home and added an addition. The project consisted of a total exterior renovation including new siding, windows, and doors. The addition provided more living space. A new kitchen, hardwood floors, updated bathrooms gave this home a fresh, updated look.
Charlotte New Build
At the Charlotte new build project, we used all reclaimed timber frame post and beams for the framing structure of the house and finished the home using mostly reclaimed materials per the homeowners request.
