Thompson’s Point New Build Camp
After carefully demolishing the original camp, we built a new home designed to feel as though it has always belonged on this lakeside property. Elements from the old camp were thoughtfully incorporated into the new construction, preserving pieces of its history while creating a comfortable, functional home for years to come. Natural materials, warm wood details, playful pops of color, and expansive lake views give the home the relaxed character of a traditional Vermont camp, while the design draws inspiration from the wooded landscape and beautiful setting that surrounds it.
Charlotte Remodel & Studio New Build
During the interior and exterior renovation of the Charlotte remodel project, we completely renovated the kitchen and installed custom made cherry cabinets topped with granite countertops and a beautiful stone backsplash. We added a new walk-in pantry with custom organizational shelving. We reorganized the flow and layout of the first floor, installed new hardwood flooring, as well as a custom fir front door, and renovated several bathrooms. During the outside phase of the project, we renovated the wrap around deck, and oversaw the extensive stonework that was completed, which included a stone retaining wall and several new patios. In the backyard, we built a brand new art studio for the homeowner, complete with vaulted ceilings, hardwood and tile throughout, a full bathroom, office, and basement storage area, all details to match the existing main home.
Charlotte New Build
At the Charlotte new build project, we used all reclaimed timber frame post and beams for the framing structure of the house and finished the home using mostly reclaimed materials per the homeowners request.
