Addison Lake House Deck Project
For this returning client on Lake Champlain, we managed the transformation of their waterfront outdoor space from design coordination through completion. Working closely with engineers and our trade partners, the new deck was designed to cantilever toward the lake, maximizing usable outdoor space while taking full advantage of the incredible views. Custom stairs were carefully scribed to follow the existing stone retaining wall, creating a seamless connection from the landscaped property down to the shoreline. Composite decking, cable railings, integrated lighting, and thoughtful detailing throughout complete a durable, low-maintenance space that feels like a natural extension of this beautiful lakefront property.
Shelburne Lake House Stair Project
This Shelburne lakefront property presented a unique challenge: an extremely steep shoreline with existing access that was more like a ladder than a staircase. We worked closely with engineers to develop a safe, durable solution for navigating the significant elevation change down to Lake Champlain. The new engineered stair system incorporates multiple landings and connects directly to the existing lake access below. At the top, we built a new deck and walkway connecting the home to the stairs, creating a continuous and much more functional path from the house to the water. A challenging site that required careful planning, engineering, and coordination from top to bottom.
